I thought I would add an update to my previous post regarding Computers playing Humans... I never meant to impose Humans should never play Computers in tournaments, Human V Engines are great to watch ... what I meant to express was computers should NOT be allowed to compete in Human V Human events. ============= Ich glaubte, daß ich eine Aktualisierung zu meinem vorausgehenden Pfahl hinsichtlich Computer hinzufügen würde, die Menschen spielen. . . Ich beabsichtigte nie, Menschen aufzuzwingen, sollte Computer nie in Turnieren spielen, Menschliche V Engines sind zu Armbanduhr groß. . . das, was ich zu Expreß meinte, war, Computer sollten nicht zu erlaubt werden konkurrieren Sie in Menschliche V Menschliches Ereignissen. ------------------------------------------------- Posted by Phil Richard on January 15, 2000 at 17:54:17: I would really like the thoughts from people regarding computers being allowed in human tournaments... We have reached a point where very few people are able to compete (esp. Blitz) against a machine in normal conditions. This is like allowing motorbikes to compete in the Olympics against humans runners!! Maybe more players should take a stand like Kasparov regarding the "Frankfurt Giants". Machine V Machine events attract a lot of interest, but please let's keep them separate.. ..............................................................
