Subject: How do I install Xtreme Chess on WIN98?

Help!
Extreme Chess will not function on my 450 MHz PIII, running the original
version of Windows 98. I run LAUNCH5.EXE on the CD-ROM, which then
starts XTREME.EXE  but, just past the Simon and Schuster welcome screen,
I get the following message:


XTREME caused a general protection fault
in module DIBENG.DLL at 0005:00003f0a.


I have also tried a "full install" on my hard drive, and
(1) Extreme Chess fails to load the engine (Fritz 4.01)
(2) Extreme Chess fails to load the opening book
(3) XTREME causes a general protection fault in module DIBENG.DLL
