LambChop will run on Lonnie's 1ghz machine. I think seeding is reasonably important, it doesn't have to be 100% right but something sensible should be aimed for. It has definite importance for the first round, where if you are in the bottom half of the seedings you will get a tough game first up. Many of the programs have played in computer tournaments, so we have a reasonable idea of their strength. Most of the other programs are active on the servers, so their strength can be estimated too. Obviously Ferret or Shredder should be to seed. Shredder is a tough one, because I believe its an old version competing. cheers, Peter
