What we have with Rebel incarnations is not a downhill run, but a progressive adaptation of the program to human playing. Ed has been clear on that. At the same time t5he rest of the concurrents has made exactly the contrary to win positions in the lists. So some advantage in comp comp games has been won by other programs over Century. But, except for freaks that has converted his original love of playing chess in the obsession to put programs to play each other, the lose (?) of Rebel products in comp Vs comps has no importance. I purchase programs to play the programs, believe it or not, and in that old fashioned condition I have bought every Rebel version and experienced his streghtenning in quantity and quality trought the years. The last one, Century, is a pleasure to play...and lose. Fernando
