Let's stop sweating the Small stuff. when in rome do as the romans do .if you know how a place is then if you go there you should at least try to fit in and not stir things up too much .there are lots of different people here some will understand your slang and some wont .even in usa there are things that will be taken to mean different things by the different classes of people . the main thing is for you to get your meaning across . i think you can just about say anything used in the right context .
