My use of the term was not intended to be tactful or classy, but rather to catch
your attention.

Just because you are not personally offended by the phrase does not mean other
people are not. I found the phrase to be only mildly offensive, but people have
complained, so I responded to your post. Why should anyone else complain?
Because they do not know ahead of time that a post that they are reading will
contain something offensive, so they have no idea to NOT read your post. Who
cares if the person you were directing the comment at did not yet respond? That
is irrelevent.

But, you did not respond to the point of my message. You merely attacked my
approach, so I do not know if you got my point:

Please refrain from offending comments about other people. Attacking opinions is
fine, but you have NO idea whether a minor (or major) comment about another
person may either offend them or others. So, don't do it.
