What sort of hard facts will you find convincing? Rebel is having excellent
results against human players. That is Ed's stated goal, and he is clearly
achieving it. Rebel has some sort of problems with autoplayer (as do other
programs -- notably crafty had a problem with the command sequence -- others may
as well). Rebel has not been tested on the SSDF (by the author's request) so it
is hard to say what is happening in that department. Since Ed's new version of
the software will have the ability to play on the internet, we should be able to
test fairly in the future. At such a time, Rebel's strength verses computers
should be possible to gague more accurately.

All women are beautiful. At least they are better looking than us (men). A
good personality is more important than a nice wrapper over the top. At some
point the wrapper dulls and wrinkles. The part that you cannot see does not
need to falter with time. Of course, that's easy for me to say. My wife's a
babe!
