My modified Crafty is finding Nxh6 also (sticks with it from 10 ply, 1:20). I
don't really know what it's seeing, though. The score looks pretty strange.
Here's the last output:
16 425:45 0.81 1. Nxh6 Bg6 2. Nxf7+ Rxf7 3. Ng5 Rxf4
4. gxf4 Rc8 5. h5 Be8 6. Qg4 Nd8 7.
Rd2 Bb5 8. Nh3 Kg8 9. h6
I think it's OK up until move 5. Move 5 may not be optimal for either side, and
8. ...Kg8 is just bad.
Any suggestions on the first 8 ply of the PV?
Jeremiah
