You can not change opening book (yet) in the Tiger engine, it always uses
the CT.BK book. Normally the engine looks in the current directory for this
file, maybe it somehow lost track of it's current directory. Did you install
it in the default directory or somewhere else ?
How do you start the program, from the installed shortcut in the start menu
or did you create a link on your desktop ?

In tournament levels or in time per game levels the clock counts down, giving
the time remaining. In ply depth and avg time per move levels time counts up
as it is not relevant.

After you have made the changes to the HT size, select 'Save settings' from the
'Extra' menu, this will make it permanent. Default setting is indeed a very
low value.

The Tiger engine does not have a book options page.

Thats very strange, I have been testing it on ICC and FICS where it played
thousands games and on their the results, given the modest hardware it is
tested on, are very good.
