Your post is also a wonderful pun. "sings" is also slang for "unfavorable testimony against someone in a court of law" ;-) I lived in a foreign country for a bit over two years. I longed for my homeland in a painful way. I had built everything up to legendary status. By the time I returned, I imagined that eating a McDonalds burger would be some sort of wild ecstacy. Still glad to be back, but not the nirvana my mind had manufactured. g'day mate
