It might be a bit difficult for someone who has been banned to act in the role
of moderator. For instance, moderators need to post messages from time to time.
Since he is not supposed to do that, I see it as a bit of a problem.

Besides which, this forum is not the sensible, sane place for truly free
discussions (such as that sterling board which CW has assembled himself at his
own site) that Chris would demean himself with by interaction.

Therefore, while he is certainly an "interesting" person, he would not be
qualified to act in the role of moderator. Yet, as an alternative, you have
that wonderful forum which he has created and where he is already serving as
moderator emeritus for life. I suggest that you go and enjoy the full bounties
of the beautiful provision which I call "Chris Whittington's truly free chess
discussion group."

Have a nice day.
