Whom [I should mention] bears a *remarkable* resemblance to Elmer Fudd. I
wonder if he's from New England? I went to New Hampshire once. Everyone went
around talking as if the letter 'r' had been magically transformed into a 'w' at
the beginning of a word and an 'ah' at the end. Also, occasionally, a 'th'
would become a 'd' but I did not recognize the formal rule. So "Did you see
that red rooster?" would become "Did you see dat wed woostah?" It was
hilarious. I just stood around in the store and marvelled at all the humorous
conversations. If you nose around M. R.'s site a bit, you'll get the joke.
It's worth a poke about anyway, just because of all the neat stuff that is
there.

Another 'New Hampshire' thingy -- my friend said, "Let's go get a fwappe and a
gwindah" -- which means "Let's go get a milkshake and submarine sandwitch."

BTW, Manfred would also be an excellent moderator.
