Is there any difference in how the engine version number is shown, after upgrade?? I still get 6.00, I would have expected 6.xx Like Bob does with Crafty. So one can see it is a different version? I even thought of deleting the engine and then upgrading? Just to see if anything new appears?????? In an auto match, on two machines, the version I have now have, has beaten Hiarcs 7.32 4.5-2.5 at 90min per side. And has beaten Fritz 6.00 10-4/ this at one hour each And has beaten Shredder 4.00 9.5-4.5 /one hour each Whatever version I now have. It seems J6 is strong?? IMHO!! With Tiger in the post, will there be a challenge for Junior?? Chris Taylor ps Games in pgn to anyone interested??
