How do you know that Shredder will not participate ? NN could mean anything.
Last year, Shredder participated. Two years ago, it was "Clever & Smart" by
Stefan, a kind of experimental program: 2 different "shredders" and a computer
referee deciding which of the 2 suggested moves (if different) to take - a kind
of purely electronical 3-hirn. The question is probably if the experimental
program is ready for tournament.
No doubt that Stefan will be ready for competition with either program.
