After I installed the upgrade to Fritz 6, I tried a problem which
F6 and the previous Fritzes could not solve, presumably because of the
null move problem, Morphy's well known problem
White: K on c8 Black: K on a8
P on b6 P on a7 and b7
R on a1 B on b8
White to move
This is a mate in 2 that Fritz 6 and the earlier Fritz versions would not
get but Fritz 6a finds R-a6!! immediately. Evidently the upgrade has at
least in some positions fixed Fritz's null-move blindness.
