I know that they were _announced_ maybe two weeks ago, but the announcement was
simply that they would be available later. Maybe later = now.

I think that on average, the Athlon and the CuMine are equivalent (for chess
programs). Both processors have their strong points. It's mainly a question of
the program's memory characteristic, because the integer units of the processors
seem to be exactly as fast as e/o.
