Hard to believe, but when I set up King, Bishop and Knight vs King, my Fritz 6a immediately announces mate in 25 or 28 moves or so, depending on where I place the pieces and then for the next 50 moves continues to announce mate in 18 or 21 or 22 moves but continues to let my King slip back to the safe corner until, with Fritz still announcing mate, I have a 50 move draw. Does anyone else have this tablebase problem? eric
