Configuration issues are always a nightmare for any programmer. And I think it's mostly bad luck that Tiger seems to have problems on some configurations. For example, on my machine it installed without a glitch (everything from the first beta to the release product), and the book never "disappeared" or anything. OTOH, many customers are already "spoilt" because they compare everything with the Fritz or Chessmaster GUI. I read some posts where people actually complained that Tiger doesn't use EGTBs or doesn't have the "one click move" feature known from Fritz and Shredder... I'm not super-happy with the ChessPartner GUI either, but I believe some of the disappointment is due to overexpectations. People have always been told "Tiger is the best there is", so obviously they assumed the GUI will also be something like "Fritz 7" or so... --- Shep
