Okay, these examples are awful. But moderation is not an exact science. People make mistakes, people lapse into bad judgement, etc. Hopefully, the election process selects people who are less likely to make mistakes. If the moderators are being jerks, sit it out and don't elect them again. If you let every CCC member vote on whether or not person X should be banned, then it's still possible that mistakes will be made. It's in the nature of being human, and we just have to do the best we can. -Tom
