I used to turn it off at the end of the day when I started using Windows 95,
when I used to use WFW I'd just leave it running in Dos, but since the last time
I posted anything on the subject here, I 've gone back to just leaving it
running all of the time.

My latest version of the Netscape browser is less stable than the last version
so I've ended up restarting my computer allot as it is. My opinion is that
sometimes it helps your computer to restart it even if you leave it running all
the time because it sort of flushes out the memory a bit.

I've heard arguments on both sides of the story as to whether you should leave
them running or not, it's probably a take a pick type of thing, I doubt if you
actually save much energy by turning modern computers off because of the "Energy
Star" stuff because it mostly shuts most of your computer & monitor down for
you.
