Hi!

What is the average nodes in one second speed for the chess game?

Recently installed in my game average counter that say average positions/second
rate. Counting this time game do for entire game and can count even the number
for few games. Want to know how far my speed is from usual one. Took the only
game that say this directly, Rebel 10. Found that its average number is around
165000 nodes in one second. Would like to know what is the usual speed or how
far the speed of Rebel (excellent game) is far from others.

Number for Rebel was found on the AMD 400Mhz. Counting was done in around 10
different initial positions while Rebel played automtic game for around 40 moves
deep. Initial position of usual game was modified in order of making Rebel use
its logic since the first move, and not use its opening, and play also all the
time different positions. In each initial position all the pieces were on the
chess board.

Thanks!
Leonid.
