It would be nice for the moderators to have access to a definitive list of people who are currently banned, with a short description of why, the date they were banned on, and a tentative date that the person doing the banning thought they should be allowed back on (if ever). I think (hope?) it would be a very small list. It might even be nice for the list to be available to all members. If i get elected moderator, it won't matter much to me if Chris is allowed back in or not, as long as the moderators retain the power to delete offensive posts, warn him, and if really goes over the top, recommend he be banned again. As an ordinary member, i don't think i have enough information to have a strong opinion here. Chris did have some interesting things to say so it might be nice to have him back. But he also could be very abusive sometimes. The whole question of why, or even if, he got banned from CCC is very unclear to me, and probably to most members. On another topic, there has been some mention of the CCC charter. I have vague memories of reading this when i joined, but now i can't easily find it on the site. Is it somewhere obvious that i am missing? Maybe there should be a link from the main page to it?
