I cannot answer your questions with details.

All I can tell you is that Tim said the account was banned (i.e. password
changed), then unbanned, then later deleted for inactivity.

As for the rest, I do not know the details.

It should be water under the bridge for everyone by now, including Chris, but
some people (and I am not just referring to Chris here) have a hard time letting
go of old problems. I wish they would.
