Go up one level in this thread
In the past there was a person here named I think Shaun Graham. Hyatt was constantly attacking him. Graham finally was fed up and in post said he would stay out of Hyatt's posts if Hyatt stayed out of his. Hyatt in a post said that he agreed and would stay out. A little while later Hyatt started posting(attacking IMHO) in Graham's posts again Graham basically blew up and told him to stop, and called Hyatt a liar. Hyatt basically agreed that he lied and scoffed. Graham enfuriated started a thread urging protection from the moderators to protect him because he felt since Hyatt was violating an agreement made in writing here that Hyatt's action was therefore uncalled for Antagonism and should be stopped. Then the moderators banned Graham for asking for help(I was there and saw it!). Of course there are some new moderators now, but they seem to be quite similar except for Amir Ban who was in that old group of moderators. Who now after having to deal with the bloodletting attacks of Hyatt himself may have at least a different attitude when it comes to THE HYATT. >I will no longer respond to any post >or attachment to one of my posts by >Dr. Hyatt. My silence should not >be interpreted as agreement, or disagreement, just >anoyment. > >I find his personal attacks "tastless". > >I respect Dr. Hyatt's work, his work on >Crafty is a great service to many, his >work on Cray Blitz was a huge accomplishment, >his insights on computer chess programming are >greatly appreciated, however, I do not >wish to waste my time responding to >his "tasteless" posts that do not add >anything to some discussions (IMHO). > >I hope the moderators will communicate with >Dr. Hyatt. He is entitled to his >opinion, but so am I and so are the >rest of the people in this group. > >I have asked Dr. Hyatt not to respond to >my posts unless I ask explicetly for his >opinion or unless he has the data I >requested. I will do the same. > >If I am out of line, then the moderators >can communicate with me. Noone get's >a free ticket (IMHO). > >My personal e-mail address has changed, if >you want it, ask in a post and I will send >it directly to you. > >Best Regards, >Chris Carson
