Moderators will moderate according to the charter, not according to agreements made between specific members. If you believe that you made a binding agreement with Dr. Hyatt, and that he broke it, feel free to take it up with him, via email, or adopt some other remedy outside CCC. I was a moderator at the time that complaint was made, and you complained that Hyatt should be banned over a completely on-topic non-abusive post. He simply responded to something you said. You wrote an extremely abusive post in response. You then ignored the warning you received, did something further, and were tossed out. It was a bizarre situation.
