There's a very simple solution if you don't want a specific member to post a response to something you say: Don't say in a public forum (like CCC). Bob (or myself, or *any* other member in good standing here) has the right to respond to any post he or she wishes, within the bounds of the charter agreement. If I see something I wish to respond to that has been posted on here, I will respond to it, regardless of whether the original poster wants me to or not. That is the nature of public discourse. If you don't like that, then email is a very appropriate private alternative. There are listservs, and even private clubs on sites like Yahoo! where you can limit your readership. I've seen this tactic used in RGCC where a poster (Sean Evans was a notorious example) would post something provocative, with a caveat that he didn't want so-and-so to respond, then act outraged when tht person did respond. Simply put, if you post in a public forum, you should expect the public to be able to react. ALL the public. Chris
