I own Hiarcs 7.32 and all the past Fritz uncluding Fritz 6. I was not
pleased to read about all the problems people were having with Rebel-Tiger
because I placed an order for it two weeks ago. It came today, and my worst
fears are confirmed. This product is not ready for release. Take something as
simple as loading a database. Try # 1: use my knowledge of windows and software
to do it the common sense way. No success. Try # 2: read the directions. No
success! Try # 3: Carefully and slowly read all the directions to everything!
Still no success!!! The directions not only fail to work, they don't even match
the GUI (e.g., "press the ok button"). This is just one example of several
serious problems I encountered over 4 hours messing with this thing.
My $60 is money very well spent! I have learned my lesson. In the future
I will not buy a chess program other than Chessbase.
