Hi,
when I first came here to CCC I realized, that there are lot of messages
here (it's fine, of course...), but to find topics you are interested in
can be sometimes difficult. E.g. I am interested in chess programming,
more precisely, in algorhitms/refinements in searching the gametree,
so such things as tournaments,meetings,comparing many chess programs (only
by their strength - not by the algorhitms they use) are beyond the scope
of my interest.
I believe, that there are many others with such problem, so I suggest
to contribute to 1 particular thread, eg. named "PROGRAMMERS THREAD" as this.
(I dont't know if similar thread (limitated as i said, but common and
generic enough) exists already. If so, I would like, please,
to know about it, thanks).
Other generic threads could be done (TOURNAMENTS,....) and every thread
could have sub-threads (eg: EVALUATION, PRUNNING, ... - which are nevertheless
often connected).
