No. seeding and awarding a title are two different things. But generally you should seed 'reasonably'. And, IMHO, "reasonably" -> Ferret at the top. Who consistently beats it? Fortunately, with 8 rounds and < 32 players, it won't matter a hill of beans as the top of the group have to play each other no matter what happens.
