In this game Junior 6.0 was saved by the 50-move rule. When the draw was declared, Fritz6a had a mate in 2! Here’s the final position: [D]8/6k1/5p2/4p1p1/4QnPp/5P1P/5q1K/5B2 w - - 0 105 Fritz6a would have won after kh1 Qxf1 Kh2 Qg2# if it were not for the 50-move rule. I’ve never seen it cut that close before. I wonder if Junior considered the 50-move rule in its calculations. Len
