You're right - it's too good an idea. It would certainly speed up engine development if all programs had this capability. While I probably would not use it personally, I would bet that alot of CCC members would. In fact, someone could probably gut the FICS code, and just pull out enough of it to have program vs. program matches (maybe get the code for one of the automated TDs also). Bob P.
