After setting up the right options in "Options" and "Endgame databases", I went
to "Edit position" and entered a simple ending: 2k5/8/8/8/r7/5P2/7R/5K2 w - - 0
1

Shredder asked for the right CD and played without a glitch:

I never found a bug in Shredder. It must be the most bug-free Windows program of
all.
