Shanti: Thank you for your constructive response. It may be a question of the proper settings, e.g., Shredder may have a conflict with my hardware (Aptiva or Windows 98-SE). I don't know the answer, but I do know that after I set up the position and press "OK", Shredder hangs and does not ask for any CD.
