Hello.
You can use booth engines.
Save old engine junior60.eng and jr_60.dll.
Install the upgrade
I rename the upgrade as Junior61.eng and jr_61.dll.
Edit file Junior61.eng (I use the old Write.exe from windows 3.1 (this edit
program do no change the size of file when save ) and replace text Junior60.eng
by junior61.eng , JR_60.dll by JR_61.dll and Junior 6.0 by Junior 6.1 .)
Edit file JR_61.dll and replace text jr_60.dll by jr_61.dll.

Now you have 2 engines : Junior60 and the upgrade junior61.
remember: the program used to edit the files must do no change the file size!.

José
