I think the idea behind writing TSCP in the first place was to give complete beginners some code to study which would make sense to them (please correct me if I'm wrong). I was one of those who started learning from your program. Sooner or later, everyone who wants to write a competent program will have to add some time control to its search routine. It would be just great if they could also learn the basics of this from your program as well. In short, now that you have to include this routine for the tourney a lot of people will get the chance to benefit from reading how it's coded. Best of luck for the tourney. I hope you'll spring a few surprises with it (TCSP drew with HIARCS 7 once on my computer. I think I set it at 7 ply for the occasion). Mike.
