Jari,  I think you understood all.
Yes i serch all move until a certain depth(with alfa-beta cutting) and then I go
on searching only capture, just like you said.
As you said i set a maximum depth (You guessed it! :-)
The main thing is that Everyting slowed  sown so much that the golem before
the quiesce play better than the new one :-(
All this happened this night .. very late so may be there is some gross mistake
i did that wait to be found.
I'd like to know how you do that just to know is I'm in the right path.
