At least one man-year of effort, I should think, especially since computer games often run well over 100 full moves. If you had to pay someone to do it, it would cost tens of thousands of dollars. I suspect they would be happy with volunteers. People get in a lather when results are not forthcoming. But it's definitely Mindscape's fault for not including any technology to enable such testing. Chessmaster has no way to play games without human intervention. I have sent them a message that suggests for them to add it.
