I found the info on a web page stating how to make opening books for crafty. It
didn't work for me ... Can anyone tell me where i can get utilities to create
books, do i need to be in dos, or do i need C++. I am confused.

Make opening books.
READ the read.me file to make opening books for Crafty.
I think you are supposed to do the following in a dos session:
Start WCraftyt (or Wcrafty )in a dos session.
On the CRAFTY(wcrafty) command line type: book create book.txt 60. (book.txt is
the book file you unzipped)This is going to take some time....
When wcrafty has finished, you are ready to create books.bin. You do it the same
way, except that you change the line to:books create start.pgn 60

Thanks

Denson
