I had a number of what I would term minor nagging problems mostly due to a lack of information provided by the readme file and CD manual. Here is a listing: 1. Hash-table amount was not addressed; for example, recommended amounts for different time controls. Perhaps some type of formula could be implemented for the type of processor speed and amount of RAM available. 2. There is a "show opening name" box checked but no Opening name is shown. 3. There is no instruction for searching the database by ECO code. 4. I had some confusion regarding "Open Internet Console and "New Internet Console". 5. My displeasure with the sounds of Rebel-Tiger were solved by the simple answer of replacing them - which I did and now have the best sounding chess program in my collection. 6. The only remaining question I have is connecting to chess.net with proper time lag. I will soon try Lex's latest reply. Unfortunately, chess.net uses a different system than both the ICC and FICS. For example, Winboard which can connect to both the ICC and FICS cannot connect to chess.net with the proper time lag unless you download something called acculock or accuclock (forgot which is the correct word). 7. I haven't gotten around to asking this question to Lex yet but perhaps you could answer is why after all book moves have been played, "Hint" sometimes comes up "No Hint available"? The next thing I would like to see in your forthcoming update is for Rebel-Tiger to show the Opening name, variation, and ECO code. This is useful information that most programs do provide. Will this info be in your update? Mel > > Christophe
