Since the weather has turned colder here in Oklahoma I have managed
to purchase Fritz6 and Chess Tiger. And have enjoyed very much both.
However I turned fifty in September and celebrated by purchasing a Heritage
Softail Classic. For all the unenlightened out there it is a Harley
Davidson motorcycle. Since the winter here generally is not that cold and
spring is on the horizon, atlas my poor chess programs will be just laying
there in my computer dormant, alone with no one to execute them. This is a
warning out there to all Computer Chess Enthusiasts, if you truly love your
chess programs, don't I repeat never buy a Harley! I'm sure Steve would
appreciate that too for if the this terrible blight on Computer Chess should
spread it could put quite a dent in ICD revenues. And perhaps even threaten
the existence of Computer Chess...........:)
PS....perhaps some one will start a new self help organization (CCEAH).
