Bg5 definitely wins in all lines, and is the best move.  I've confirmed it by
running down a bunch of alternatives.  What this means is that in the variation
in question (Caro-Kann Exchange I think) the move 12...e5? loses by force since
after 13. dxe6 Nxe6 recapture is forced, then 14. Bg5 wins against all replies.
This line is probably in a great many books.  It's in the book that comes with
Hiarcs, and probably a lot of others.  This info should be reflected in the
C.A.P. database by whatever means appropriate. :)
