Go up one level in this thread

Yeah, of course, one thing Karpov has been master of for many years is selling
himself. I think Botvinnik said it best, something about being as fertile as a
steril women. IMO, Anand should have been declared FIDE Wolrld Champion 2 years
ago, but of course, Karpov 'got away' with winning a cheap match agains Vishy at
the end of his long battles agianst everyone else. (Especially as Anand was
forced to play the rested AK, only a couple of days after all those other
gruelling matches - NOT FAIR & everyone knew/knows it, but FIDE didn't care).

Now Karpov is no longer even in the top 10 (amazing he was able to keep himself
there as long as he did, too), and whatever titles he keeps now, are generally
going to be awarded in court. In fact maybe Fischer and Karpov should play a
match with each other now, as Fischer was the last FIDE WC too win his title in
play against the last so called legitamit guy, and Karpov did after all earn the
right to orriginally play Fischer. Heck those 2 bozo's deserve each other:) -
Why not just have the match on the ICC (Fischer said during the Fischer-Spassky
match that he was ready to play Spassky one on one, with no money getting in the
way of proving a result - what's stopping him now!). Com'on Bobby, take some
time off of proving the World jewish conspiricy, sign up for an account (it free
to GM's, you know?), on the ICC, and take on all comers! (I'm sure we can get
some Non-Jewish techical people to make sure its all on the up & up!), and shut
those Karpov/Kasparov, communist loving fools right up - are you reading this
Bobby? - Oh well...

As far as computers & Karpov are concerned - Well you would have to be pretty
dum to believe most of the hype that computer companies put on to their product
whenever they put their name on the machine, or make some big claim about how
wonderful the program is, just because it drew (or even beat), The (so-called),
World Champion. But no doubt, Shredder was a little lucky (after all, it did
tie with Ferret, didn't it?), to win the World Micro Championship on tiebreak,
and certainly is a good program, even if not the very best, and its no surprise
that Millenium would make a 'big deal' out of its one (stupid) game against
Anatoly - After all, they have signed him up to be a voice for their product.
Now me, well the thougt of hearing Karpov's voice come out of some chess video
or computer product, practically makes me ill, but heck, maybe its just me...
