If you said "x plays like a deranged muttonhead" would you consider that a personal attack? Or would you not, because it is just a statement of your opinion? It is no more and no less personal than your statement about Karpov. The content of your post is not, IMO, a personal attack. The title _is_ and here I why: In both your title and your post you state your opinion. But in your title you also _unnecessarily_ insult Karpov, and that is the personal attack. James
