Let me clarify this a little bit. Chess Tiger 12.0f is not what you say.

Chess Tiger 12.0f is exactly the same engine as 12.0e (which is the commercially
released engine), but 12.0f is able to adjust its hash table size automatically
depending on the computer you use and the time controls to play.

So regarding playing strength, 12.0e (commercial) = 12.0f

Both versions can be enhanced by setting this is the CT.INI file:
  NSEW=1
  MoreSel=1
