It is good when Uli found this problems and when User help and wrote about this problems. The IPCCC starts next week and I hope User play games and postet the games in the WinBoard forum. Comet live, and this is good for user and I am happy that Ulrich is present in a lot of chess fora. Furthermore the amateurs have not more then 1 or 2 computers at home. Professional programmer play autoplay games with a lot of computer and firms play games. The professionals have more time for chess programming and here new versions are 20 or 30 ELO better. A reason why other people or I play tournaments under WinBoard ! OK, is Crafty 15.18 or Crafty 17.07 better ? Bob make important changes from version to version or bugfixes when he see or other people see problems. The program play better and better. I think it is great that the programmer give here new version when he makes important changes. Have fun with Comet (this program play with ~2450 ELO and 99,9 people which play chess have not a chance against Comet) ! Regards Frank
