Subject: Which defence to d4 offers the most traps for catching white off guard?

I am considering the Benko gambit as black since I have heard some good things
about it.  Does it offer good traps to catch white off guard?  I like playing
the Max Lange attack as white and would like to have rich tactical positions as
black against d4.  Please help.
