My local CompUSA has it for $20.00. CM 5500, which is almost as good but doesn't have a decent database function, was available for $15.00. I saw CM5000 packaged together with several other game programs (not other chess programs) for $20.00, this program was about the same as CM5500, but didn't have a good 2D set. On the other hand, a "learning" store in a nearby mall was selling CM5500 for $50.00! From this we learn to shop around. And yes, I think that CM6000 is a good buy. Marc
