What does computer analysis say? the opening book of the chess programs try to fix the, more or less, poor understanding of the programs about the opening.Trust in good players not in the analysis of the computers in openings and in positional stuff. The evaluation of positions in chess programs are the part of code that determine how good is a positions giving to them an amount of points, and is written by a programmer, and it is never good enough and not even close to the apreciation that can be done by the programer himself in a particular position. Anyway here is a very short search of my little program :) [2] +0.52 d2-d4 d7-d5 d4-c5 d5-e4 d1-d8 e8-d8 [3] +0.67 b1-c3 g8-f6 g1-f3 [4] +0.39 d2-d4 c5-d4 g1-f3 d8-a5 c1-d2 [5] +0.61 b1-c3 b8-c6 g1-f3 g8-f6 f1-b5 [6] +0.37 b1-c3 b8-c6 g1-f3 e7-e5 f1-b5 g8-e7 [7] +0.60 b1-c3 e7-e6 g1-f3 d7-d5 d2-d4 g8-f6 c1-g5 c5-d4 d1-d4 Total nodes = 983012 Normal nodes : 777169 ; Extension/Qsearch nodes : 205843
