Since you already own CM6000 you are asking a silly question. To go out now and
buy CM6000 instead of Junior 6a would be a waste of your money unless you could
only afford CM6000 and then you would probably do better to just download Bob
Hyatts' excellent Crafty 17.x and the opening book and tablebases.

So, yes, it is a waste of money to buy less than the best if you can afford the
best. Hiarcs 7.32 is a great program and so is Fritz 6 and Rebel 10 or Chess
Tiger.

Instead of trolling here at CCC for answers to opening theory you should go to
the sources of opening info available on the web.  We at CCC really don't care
about openings much except a few "anti-computer" dudes that like closed
stonewall formations.
