Thank you for your insight.  I was not sure why Deep Blue picked c3. I thought
that if the most powerful chess program in the world used it then it was the
best move.  I did not realize that the opening book was geared against Kasparov.
I thought that the program would play that way regardless of the user.  Thanks
again.  I will stick to Nf3 since I feel more comfortable with the tactical
positions that arise.  I guess it boils down to what you like to play.
